1. Service Description

TallyPort is an AI-powered platform that converts PDF bank statements into Tally-ready XML and CSV formats. The Service processes uploaded documents using Azure Document Intelligence and returns extracted transaction data in the requested output format. We support 22 Indian banks and continuously improve accuracy.

2. Account Registration

You must create an account to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must provide accurate, current, and complete registration information.

3. Free Pages & Subscriptions

New accounts receive 30 free pages to evaluate the Service. Additional pages can be purchased through subscription plans (Starter, Pro) or top-up packs. Plans are billed annually in Indian Rupees (INR). Unused pages expire at the end of your billing cycle. Failed extractions do not count against your page quota.

4. Data Processing & Security

Uploaded bank statements are processed using Azure Document Intelligence and stored securely in Azure Blob Storage encrypted at rest (AES-256). All data in transit is protected by TLS 1.3. We do not share your financial data with third parties. Processed files are retained for 7 days and then automatically deleted. You may request earlier deletion by contacting support.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Upload malicious files or attempt to compromise the Service
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the AI models powering the extraction
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of Indian law
• Attempt to access another user's account or uploaded documents
• Upload statements that you do not have the legal right to process

6. Accuracy & Disclaimer

While we strive for 99.5% accuracy, the extracted data is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. It is your responsibility to verify the accuracy of the extracted transactions before importing them into Tally or any accounting system. We recommend reviewing the preview and full output before final import.

7. Limitation of Liability

TallyPort shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claims shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its AI models, software, design, and branding, is the intellectual property of TallyPort. You retain all rights to your uploaded bank statements and the extracted transaction data. We do not claim ownership over your data.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days. You may terminate your account at any time through your profile settings.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified via email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Mumbai, Maharashtra.
